Although powder coating has taken considerably longer to attain a significant share of the coatings market than prophesied 15–10 years ago, it is now projected to attain an average annual growth rate in excess of nine per cent in the 1980–85 period, concludes a new study by Frost & Sullivan, Inc. This compares with an anticipated rate of 1.8 per cent for all industrial finishes over the same period.
