Lacryl Hydratone is the trade name for a new water-borne decorative stoving paint for metal surface that has come to our attention: particularly as it is claimed to have one of the lowest VOC contents available in industrial coatings.
Added to this major environmental benefit, the product can also save time and money, since the coloured or clear finish can be applied directly onto a metal, eliminating the need for etch primers.
Hydratone was developed in the US and a typical application for the product is the decoration of alloy car wheels. It is said to demonstrate excellent performance in the harshest of environments is fade-resistant and can be matched accurately to most RAL, BS and Pantone references. It is suitable for aluminium and steel and as a protective clear gloss finish for brass.
