This new facility gives DyStar its own production base in the world's fastest growing textile market. The DyStar Wuxi production site is a joint venture between DyStar and the Chinese company Wuxi Dyestuff Factory (75 per cent DyStar, 25 per cent WDF). It is located in the Province of Jiangsu, northwest of Shanghai, in one of the major centres of the Chinese textile industry. The facility's initial production capacity is 2,000 tonnes p.a. disperse dyes for polyester fibres, both for the local market and for export.
