WAXPERSION® HS is a range of highly concentrated but free flowing wax dispersions. The careful selection of the waxes used in these special formulations and the dispersion technique employed, results in a very stable system. The WAXPERSION®HS range reportedly imparts excellent surface properties to various ink and coating systems.
The high solids (HS)system introduces a minimum of solvents to formulations. The manufacturing process allows the production of spherical particles with a very narrow and homogenous particle size. This is normally only achieved by the traditional wax precipitation process which often uses aromatic solvents and is quite low in solids content.
Recent developments include the introduction of waterbased products.
This new development of the WAXPERSION® range is directed to applications in the wood and furniture coating industries as well as industrial metal and plastic decoration. It is also suitable for flexo and gravure printing inks.
