BIP appoints financial manager

Chartered management accountant Alan Bracey has been appointed financial manager for three of the manufacturing businesses operated by BIP Limited at Oldbury in the West Midlands. The three businesses cover the manufacture of three specific ranges of specialist synthetic resins and formaldehyde, which is used on site and is also made available on the free market.

"Beetle" paper and textile treatment resins are used typically for giving wet strength to paper and crease resistance to textiles. "Beetle" coating resins, used in storing finishes for the automotive and can making industries and lacquers for wood finishes, enjoy excellent worldwide sales.

Alan Bracey joins BIP from a company specialising in oil and chemicals reclamation and he becomes responsible direct to the general managers of the various businesses.
