High solids, methylated MF coating resin

The result of an extensive development and testing programme, the new, methylated MF "Beetle" coating resin BE 312 reportedly combines the properties of full water solubility with low free formaldehyde less than 0.3 per cent.

Having a high solids content combined with low viscosity, this is a highly reactive, cross-linking resin with benefits for water-based coatings and paints. Supplied in water, it offers excellent stability and will be particularly suitable for general industrial-type applications.

Its versatility is demonstrated by its additional value in the paper manufacturing industry for improving wet strength.

Typical properties of"Beetle" coating resin BE 312 can be seen in Table I.
