Elf Atochem and Du Pont reach agreement on the marketing of HFC 43-10 in Europe

Under an agreement signed between Elf Atochem and Du Pont, the HFC 43-10 fluorinated solvent (a product with zero ODP) will soon be included in Elf Atochem's Forane® range, both pure and in blends.

As a leader in HCFC 141b,Elf Atochem should thereby consolidate its position in Europe as a supplier to the fluorinated solvents market. Forane 43-10 aptly complements Elf Atochem's range of hi-tech solvents for cleaning, degreasing and drying applications. Tests carried out by Elf Atochem in its application laboratories reportedly have shown that this particular product can offer customers an answer to the most exacting technical constraints.
