EMS-Chemie AG, a manufacturer of raw materials for the powder coating industry, has doubled production capacity of the crosslinker Primid XL-552. Following successful scale up of production in January, the increased capacity came fully on stream in February of this year. A timely increase! In 1998, demand for Primid XL-552 is set to surpass all previous records.
The plant modification completed in December 1997 is one stage of a planned production strategy for Primid crosslinkers. Doubling the capacity of Primid XL-552 will allow EMS-Chemie AG to continue supplying worldwide demand exclusively from its facility in Domat/Ems, Switzerland. Securing sufficient capacity in Switzerland and maintaining the very high standard of consistency and quality of Primid XL-552 are top priorities for the company.
