Wolstenholme Rink acquires ABCO enterprises

Wolstenholme Rink PLC (WR)has acquired the assets and goodwill of ABCO Enterprises Inc. (ABCO) for a cash consideration of $3.82 million (£2.34 million).

ABCO, which is located in Michigan, North America, manufactures a specialist range of water-based black dispersions. These are sold mainly to printing ink manufacturers as a base for the manufacture of water-based black inks.

The main focus of Wolstenholme International, a subsidiary of WR, is the supply of specialist products to the printing ink industry. Its US subsidiary, MD-Both Industries,already supplies metallic pigment, metallic ink and oil based black dispersions to printing ink manufacturers in America. The business of ABCO will broaden the product range and the distribution outlets of MD-Both Industries will be used to enhance sales of ABCO products.
