The versatile new range of attractively finished steel GUARDIAN safety cabinets provides safe indoor storage for a wide variety of hazardous materials. These cabinets are reported to comply with COSHH and all relevant safety regulations for storage of flammable liquids, paints, chemicals and pesticides, among many applications(Plate 1).

Strong welded steel construction, reinforced steel doors and a three-point locking system ensure that the cabinets maintain their integrity in the event of fire and guard against unauthorised access when locked.
Inside, there are fully adjustable fixed or sliding shelves, perforated to allow any accidental spillage to drain into the liquid-tight sump base, where it can be contained within the cabinet until safely removed. Optional ventilation is available to suit the materials being stored.
The safety cabinets are available in five convenient standard sizes, stylishly finished in a choice of four colours. Cabinets are available from manufacturer Portasilo Ltd and are supplied ready for immediate long-term use in laboratory, hospital, surgery,workshop, office, retail premises or wherever hazardous materials need to be stored at the indoor workplace.
