Spies Hecker's new corporate brochure is now available. This eight-page, full colour publication takes a look at the history behind one of the leading names in vehicle refinishing.
From it we learn that Spies Hecker was painting even before the car was invented! Way back in 1882,two brothers called Spies teamed up with a Mr Hecker to set up a factory to produce paint for horse-drawn carriages. Soon the company was renowned for the high quality of its products and workmanship and by the time the motor car was introduced, Spies Hecker was well able to adapt to new challenges in both materials and technique. While many paint companies disappeared, Spies Hecker continued to grow and, over 100 years later, the same is still true.
The new corporate brochure also highlights latest developments in EPA compliance where Spies Hecker leads the field with its environmentally friendly waterborne system. The company is committed to ensuring its customers maintain their competitive edge and is always on hand to offer advice on refinish issues. A new £1 million training centre opens at Spies Hecker's UK headquarters in Chadwell Heath, Essex in September, adding to the network of these state-of-the-art centres around the world.
