Spies Hecker has appointed Andy Baxter as northern regional sales manager. Andy, who has worked for the premium vehicle refinish paint manufacturer for six years, was initially a technical sales representative. He was then promoted to business development manager, winning the title Business Development Manager of the Year, before this latest promotion to his new role.
"I see my position as a challenging and exciting role in a challenging and exciting market place," says Mr Baxter. "I feel I am in a privileged position to work for Spies Hecker and be part of a region that can offer the most state-of-the-art waterborne technology available beyond the millennium. The goal is to drive the region and company forward to a position of market leader in new technology, sales and support creating new standards within the industry."
Spies Hecker automotive refinishes has also promoted Robert Snook to the position of regional manager for the west of the UK with immediate effect.
Robert was formerly a new technology specialist and then a business development manager for Spies Hecker within the same region. Based in Tisbury in Wiltshire, he will be responsible for the ongoing successful co-ordination between product specialists, business development managers and new technology specialists.
Offering his thoughts on the new position Mr Snook says, "Wide experience has led me to a position of knowing what our customers really need from us. I view this as a very exciting opportunity to lead a wonderfully successful team."
