LabSystems (Thermo LabSystems) announces a new concept in laboratory information management systems (LIMS), for lower cost of ownership and reduced payback time.

The new-ready-to-run Nautilus LIMS package is said to be suitable for any size of laboratory, which delivers true LIMS functionality, fast.

Based on the LIMS technology that LabSystems has developed over 15 years, the new Nautilus LIMS package is reportedly designed to simplify ease-of-entry into LIMS. This is achieved by offering a LIMS starter pilot system, with consultancy, hardware, training and live installation in as little as three months.

This new one-user LIMS pilot package is available now from LabSystems. The new Nautilus LIMS is said to be designed to shortcut the long-term specification and implemation cycle traditionally experienced in this market (where lead times can be up to two years).
