Dürr Ltd reports that it has gained an order worth £4.3 million from truck manufacturer ERF, who are consolidating their current Sandbach and Middlewich sites into a new £25 million, 2.7 acre facility in Middlewich. The order includes a new assembly line, along with paint facilities and offices.

Dürr Ltd is responsible for providing all building services and installing all conveyors and paint facilities, including ovens and booths. They will also be responsible for electrical power for the equipment, compressed air(needed for driving equipment, nut runners and hand tools), lighting, and gas used for heating (ovens, space heaters). Owing to the size of the trucks, the new MWV facility will have a production rate of four an hour.

ACT, Dürr's conveyor division, is managing the project and will utilise the full resources of the Dürr Group, including Dürr Limited, UK and Dürr Systems, France. The contract will be completed by August 2000.
