The UK-based subsea engineering group, CRP, informs us that it has acquired US-based Emerson & Cuming Composite Materials (ECCM) for an undisclosed multi-million dollar sum. This transaction brings together two of the world's largest and most respected suppliers of subsea equipment.

Until now, CRP was principally a UK-based operation with three manufacturing sites located in the UK and additional sales offices in Houston, Texas. The main site and group headquarters are situated in the town of Skelmersdale near Manchester.
