The launch of a new name in ultra violet (UV) curing, Integration Technology, has been announced in a climate of continued strong growth, across a broad range of applications and industries, in this environmentally friendly and economic process.
Through comprehensive internal product development and a series of technology agreements, Integration Technology claims to offer a novel blend of in-house manufacturing combined with the latest in UV technology from around the world. The company actively promotes this independent approach as being one of "UV systems integration" to offer the optimum turnkey solution, as opposed to being just another UV equipment maker. A company spokesperson comments:
One of our key selling points is an ability to approach projects with an in-depth knowledge of applications and equipment, combined with an advanced engineering capability and access to "cutting edge" technology. This kind of approach does not always exist from established vendors, who are either tied to a limited product range or lack the applications knowledge or process expertise to provide the customer with a complete solution.
Founded by two senior ex-directors of Spectral, Integration Technology is reported to be focused on ensuring cutting edge technology at cost effective prices, to enable the benefits of UV to be enjoyed by an increasing number of industries and customers. Reaffirming its commitment to customer service,Integration Technology has recently posted a new interactive Web site, which includes a UV applications advice line.
Members of the Integration Technology team were pioneers in UV curing technology and have been instrumental in taking the process into many new industrial fields over the past 25 years. The company is committed to advancing UV as a technology, and has the expertise to configure UV into new processes not currently serviced by the UV curing industry.
Products on offer from Integration Technology include the new compact "V-Zero"series 85mm modular curing unit. The V100 range of medium-sized high performance conveyor UV systems has generated significant interest world-wide from a variety of sectors. Suitable for both laboratory and production purposes it offers 300mm to 600mm widths with single or twin lamps.
Integration Technology also provides a bespoke manufacturing service, for example, instant start (cold or hot) arc systems up to 1,000mm wide. A range of measuring instrumentation such as, UV meters; on-line data loggers; and high-resolution video inspection equipment for QA or other purposes complement the UV hardware. The company additionally undertakes consultancy services covering project management or the specification and implementation of process enhancements to optimise the performance of existing UV lines.
The requirement for rapid expansion has necessitated immediate investment in substantial new premises. Relocating from Solihull, Integration Technology has recently opened centrally located offices and engineering facilities situated on the prestigious Heyford Park Industrial Estate, in the high technology heartland of Cherwell Valley, North Oxfordshire. Integration Technology plans to continue expanding its range of products and services, and further announcements are anticipated in the near future.
