Cray Valley, the Resins Division of Atofina, the Chemicals branch of the TotalFinaElf Group, recently acquired the Resins division of Croda International Plc.

The Resins division of Croda International had a turnover in 2000 of around e40 million, and it operates from three production sites: Speke (Liverpool) and Belvedere (east of London) in the UK, and Beranang in Malaysia.

The acquisition further strengthens the company's position in photocure resins in Europe as well as in industrial coatings for European and Asian markets.
