World Surface Coatings abstracts CD-ROM now updated monthly

It is reported that the World Surface Coatings Abstracts (WSCA) CD-ROM has been enhanced by changing its update frequency from quarterly to monthly.
The CD-ROM contains almost 250,000 records, with searchable data covering journal articles, patents, etc. published from 1976 onwards. The topics range from raw materials through coatings types, application and uses to properties,toxicology, legislation and business information. Related materials such as inks and adhesives are also included.
The CD-ROM may be used in stand-alone format or loaded on to a company Intranet. Password-controlled Internet access using a third-party host is also available. The CD itself contains all the necessary software for DOS, Windows and Apple; software for Intranet use may be downloaded.
The CD-ROM is published by the Paint Research Association in conjunction with Dialog Corp.
