Joint trade fair in Cologne in 2007: “Farbe – Ausbau & Fassade”

With the first-ever participation of stucco workers in the Farbe (6-9 April 2005), the Hauptverband Farbe, Gestaltung, Bautenschutz and the German Association of the Stucco Industry have taken the first step of a collaborative effort in the trade fair sector. It is a forward-looking move, as it will result in the participating associations holding a newly aligned sector trade fair known as “Farbe – Ausbau & Fassade” in Cologne in just 2 years time.
“We're combining our trade fair activities in a new joint effort for the benefit of exhibitors and visitors alike”, said Jürgen Hinz,President of the Hauptverband Farbe, Gestaltung Bautenschutz. Jan Pothof,Managing Director of Koelnmesse Ausstellungen GmbH, stated that he was highly satisfied with the new development. “The new 'Farbe – Ausbau &Fassade' trade fair incorporates the previous Ausbau & Fassade leading trade fair in accordance with the wishes of the sector”, he said. “We are open to cooperative efforts with other associations that are involved with interior finishing. For example, we're currently holding promising talks with the German Tile Workers' Association”.
