Master Bond Inc., Hackensack, NJ has developed a new one component high performance “snap cure” adhesive to optimize productivity. This system called Master Bond Supreme10HTF, is designed to fully cure in as little as 2 min at 375-400°F, even less at higher temperatures. Tensile shear strength of more than 3,000 psi and T-peels in excess of 20 pli is readily obtainable. Supreme 10HTF can be stored at room temperature for a minimum of three months. Unlike other “snap cure” systems this product does not require refrigeration. Master Bond Supreme 10HTF can be easily applied with both manual and automatic dispensing equipment. Its service operating temperature range is -320-+400°F. It has excellent adhesion to a wide range of both metallic and nonmetallic substrates. This toughened composition offers superior resistance to thermal shock, vibration and stress fatigue cracking. Master Bond Supreme 10HTF is available in pint, quart, gallon, 5gal and drum units.
