New Technical Polymers Group President at Arkema

Arkema announced that Lando Ferretti joined the company as the new Group President of its Technical Polymers Business Unit within the Performance Products business segment on 1 July 2006. Ferretti succeeded Bernard Roche, who has been called to other functions. An Italian national, 46 year old Lando Ferretti started his career as a consultant for the Boston Consulting Group Strategy Consultancy, joined GE Plastics in 1988, and later GE Lighting, where he held worldwide or European management posts in Sales, Marketing, Strategic and Operational Planning, Development, Product Management and Six Sigma Quality successively. In 2000, he joined Vantico as CEO of the Adhesives, Tooling and Optronics Division. In October 2003, he joined CHEP Europe, producer of pallet and container management solutions, as Senior Vice President, in charge of sales, customer service, and administration.
