ISP acquires the biocides business of Bode Chemie

ISP acquires the biocides business of Bode Chemie International Specialty Products Inc. (ISP) announced that it has acquired the biocides business of Bode Chemie, which is based in Hamburg,Germany. In the transaction, ISP acquired Bode's range of industrial biocide products for the metalworking fluids, paints and coatings, and building and construction markets. The acquisition of Bode's biocides business further enhances ISP's existing biocides portfolio and follows the successful acquisitions of Progiven S.A.S. and the biocides assets of Milker & Grüning Gmbh during 2006 and Biochema in 2004. In addition, ISP continues to make investments to support its key products for the purposes of complying with the European Biocidal Products Directive.
