Youngkyun Baek is a professor of educational technology at Boise State University. Dr Baek’s research includes all aspects of teaching and learning in virtual worlds, including educational games, simulations, and mobile devices in education. Dr. Baek has written and presented extensively, sharing his knowledge internationally.

Sumie Chan is currently teaching at The University of Hong Kong. She has been teaching various literature in English and English courses at different universities, including language and gender, drama and performance, film studies, and Shakespeare. Her research interests include language and gender, cultural studies, and literature.

Keri-Anne Croce is a professor at Towson University. Dr. Croce specializes in the areas of disciplinary literacy in mathematics and sciences, multilingual literacy, and assessment. In addition to her publications in numerous journals, she has authored the book, Navigating Assessment With Linguistically Diverse Learners, and has coedited the book, Developing science Literacy in the 21st Century.

Judith Cruzado-Guerrero is a professor at Towson University. Dr. Cruzado-Guerrero currently serves as the chair of the elementary education department. Judith’s research interests focus on the areas of bilingual education, family engagement, and culturally relevant pedagogy. She is published in multiple journals and is coauthor of the book, Wordless Books: So Much to Say!

Jonida Dervishi is the associate director in the MBA and graduate programs office in the Feliciano School of Business. Ms. Dervishi has worked in the Feliciano School of Business since 2006. She has contributed to a myriad of changes in the MBA and other graduate programs over the years: both in program structure, curriculum, and student programming, designing and implementing programs that fit the needs of working professionals. She has published and presented topics that include launching a fully asynchronous online program, implementing international study trips, creating a full time accelerated program for younger students. She also serves as a faculty advisor for a co-op experience course. Ms. Dervishi earned her MBA at Henderson State University and her BBA in management information systems at Southern Arkansas University.

Deltrye Eagle Holt received a BS in mathematics from Clark College (now Clark-Atlanta University), MA in mathematics from the University of Georgia, and an EdD with a concentration in instructional technology and distance education from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Holt has experienced a 32-year, fulfilling career in higher education. She is an assistant professor of Mathematics at Agusta University and teaches face-to-face, synchronous online, and asynchronous online mathematics course. In 2016, Dr. Holt received the inaugural Augusta University Teaching Excellence Award for Online Teaching. Dr. Holt also received the Augusta University College of Science & Mathematics Exemplary Teaching Award for 2017-2018. Dr. Holt’s research focus is designing and facilitating higher education online mathematics courses.

Nicole Koppel is the MBA director and a full professor in the Department of Information Management and Business Analytics in the Feliciano School of Business. Dr. Koppel has been a faculty member since 2000 and has served as the MBA director since 2009. Under her leadership, the MBA program has been transformed into an innovative, market-centric cohort-based program for working professionals by offering weeknight, weekend hybrid, accelerated and online formats. Dr. Koppel’s research focus is in the broad area of pedagogy and assessment in technology and quantitative studies. In addition, she has published in the area of operations management. Her teaching experience includes courses in operations, statistics and management information technology. Dr. Koppel earned her PhD in management science and information systems at the Rutgers Business School; she also holds a BS and MS in operations research and industrial engineering from Cornell University and Columbia University, respectively.

Patrick R. Lowenthal is an associate professor of educational technology at Boise State University, where he teaches master’s and doctoral students in fully online graduate programs. He specializes in designing and developing online learning environments. His research focuses on how people communicate using emerging technologies—with a specific focus on issues of presence, identity, and community—in online learning environments.

Ross A. Malaga is a full professor and chair of the Information Management and Business Analytics Department in the Feliciano School of Business. Dr. Malaga has over 25 years experience in the areas of information technology and entrepreneurship. Dr. Malaga is regarded as a leading expert in the areas of search engine optimization, equity crowdfunding, online teaching, and e-commerce. He has published extensively in peer reviewed journals including Communications of the ACM, Venture Capital, and the International Journal of Electronic Commerce. He has presented at the top conferences (ICIS and HICSS) and has written a textbook. He has a broad experience in curriculum development and teaching in hybrid and online formats. He is often called upon to provide consulting services, expert witness testimony and media interviews. Dr. Malaga earned his PhD in information systems from George Mason University. He holds a master’s of information systems from George Washington University and a BA in political science from American University.

Anthony A. Pina is chief online learning officer at Illinois State University. He has published six books on distance education and educational technology leadership and is coeditor of the book series Leadership and Best Practices in Educational Technology Management for Brill Publishing. He is on the editorial board of four scholarly journals and serves currently as a member of the board of directors of the Association for Educational Communications and Technology and as past president and trustee of the AECT Foundation. Dr. Pina’s research interests focus on administration and leadership issues in distance education, educational technology and instructional design.

William H. Stewart is the inbound exchange student program manager at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, where he coordinates all aspects of inbound exchanges. He specializes in transnational and international education, particularly where these fields intersect with distance education. His research focuses on student motivations for, and experienceswith distance education in cross-border settings, focusing on the Korean context. He also works on a STEM+C research project at his alma mater, Boise State University where he earned a doctorate in educational technology.

Amy Winger is a faculty member at the University of Phoenix. She holds a BA in English from the University of Iowa and an MEd in English education from the University of Minnesota. Her research areas include social media and technological innovation in online learning.
