17th International Conference on College Teaching and Learning: April 10-14, 2006, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL: Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Spa

This conference stresses the applications of learning and motivation theory, research, and technology to higher education learning. Emphasis is on research and practice in teaching and learning with a focus on the uses of innovative learning strategies and the Internet in face-to-face blended and online courses. This year’s conference is expected to provide 350 or more faculty presentations to 1,000 attendees in all academic fields from throughout the world. There will be both 25- and 45minute presentations as well as poster sessions. 11th Annual Technology, Colleges & Community (TCC) Worldwide Online Conference: April 18-20, 2006 (Online)

The theme for this conference is “Voyaging into a New Decade.” Preconference dates are April 4-6. This conference invites online attendees to share expertise, experiences, and knowledge relevant to the use of information technology in learning, teaching and academic services. This event will also be useful for novices and those interested in Internet resources for teaching and learning. This is a worldwide online conference designed for university and college practitioners including faculty, academic support staff, counselors, student services personnel, students and administrators. Like a face-to-face conference, this event follows a real-time schedule. ASTD 2006 International Conference & Exposition: May 7-10, 2006, Dallas, TX: Dallas Convention Center

“The DLA symposiums are specifically designed for those involved or interested in the administration, management, planning, and evaluation of distance learning programs. NUTN 2006: Managing and Maintaining Quality in Distance Learning, June 10-12, Minneapolis, MN: Radisson Plaza Hotel

The theme of this conference is “Benchmarking Quality in Distance Learning” in order to explore ways to maintain and manage quality. The conference focuses on the impact of change in leadership/organizations, student/ customer expectations, organizational structure, economic factors, competition, marketing approaches, the regulatory environment, and environmental factors coupled with emergency preparedness. ED-MEDIA 2006; World Conference on Educational Multimedia, Hypermedia & Telecommunications, June 26-30, Orlando, FL: Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld

ED-MEDIA World Conference on Educational Multimedia, Hypermedia & Telecommunications is an international conference organized the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE). This event serves as a multidisciplinary forum for the discussion and exchange of information on the research, development, and applications on all topics related to multimedia, hypermedia and telecommunications/distance education.
