Umair Riaz is an Assistant Professor in Accounting at Aston Business School, Aston University. His research focuses on sustainability, accountability, ethics and critical accounting.

Muhammad Al Mahameed is an Assistant Professor in Managerial Economics and Management Accounting at the Department of Operations Management at Copenhagen Business School, Denmark and visiting Assistant Professor in Accounting at the University of Sharjah, the College of Business Administration. His research focuses on Social and Environmental Accounting. His recent research has been published in Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal, Accounting Forum and Accounting Research Journal. Formerly, he was a Lecturer in Accounting, Sustainability and Refugee Entrepreneurship in the Accounting Department at Aston Business School, Aston University, Birmingham, UK.

Lisa Gentemann graduated from Aston Business School, and she is currently working as a Finance Director. Her research interests include green finance, corporate sustainability and digital transformation.

Theresa Dunne is a Reader in the Accounting and Finance Division of the School of Business. She is also the Director of Doctoral Studies in the School of Social Sciences. She holds a BComm from the National University of Ireland, Galway and a MAcc from the University of Dundee. She was awarded her PhD on the implications of derivatives accounting and reporting for accountability and corporate governance from the same university.
