Pushing boundaries: market intelligence elevating SMEs export intensity through vibrant ecosystem

Md. Nur Alam has been working as a professor in the Business Administration Discipline at Khulna University in Bangladesh. He completed his PhD from Leipzig University, Germany. He completed his master’s degree from the University of Namur, Belgium and his bachelor’s degree from Khulna University, Bangladesh. His research interests include SMEs internationalisation and international entrepreneurship, the entrepreneurial decision-making approach (effectuation) and its impact on small business, poverty, sustainable development, institutions and development, international trade and its socio-economic impact and adjustment strategies.

Syed Shamim Hasan is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has completed his BBA and MBA (with distinction) degrees, majoring in finance, from Khulna University, Bangladesh. He is interested in financial planning and sustainability, fintech, microfinance, international business, entrepreneurship, branding, etc.

Syed Salman Haider is currently serving as a Territory Manager at ShopUp, one of the leading full-stack B2B commerce platforms in Bangladesh. He completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) majoring in marketing from Khulna University, Bangladesh.

Md. Noor Un Nabi has been working as a professor since 2012 in the Business Administration Discipline at Khulna University in Bangladesh. He earned his master’s in 2006 with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and PhD in 2010 at the Centre for Area Studies (CAS) of Leipzig University in Germany. He worked as a post-doctoral researcher during 2011–2014 and as a visiting professor during 2016–2018 at the same university. His research areas include the internationalisation of SMEs, global value chain and SME upgrading, entrepreneurship and innovation management and social entrepreneurship.

Imtiaz Masroor, Assistant Professor at the Human Resource Management Discipline in the Khulna University, Khulna - 9208, Bangladesh. He completed his bachelor’s degree (majoring in finance and minoring in marketing) and master’s degree (majoring in finance) from Khulna University, Bangladesh where he achieved distinction and received a prestigious award for his outstanding result. His research interests include institutional theories and frameworks, institutional voids, internationalisation of SMEs, entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial cognition, etc.

Sayma Mehezabin Bably is currently pursuing Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Business Administration Discipline, Khulna University, Bangladesh. She has completed her BBA degree majoring in marketing from Khulna University, Bangladesh. She is interested in entrepreneurship, digital transformation, resilience, behavioural economics, sustainable innovation, digital marketing and data analysis.
