Fundamentals of Technologies for Textile Specialty Products

Many kinds of specialty products have been and will be commercialized in textile industry. But there have been no text in which fundamentals of technologies for textile specialty products is systematically discussed. In this paper, the author tries to present fundamental method to develop specialty fabrics of apparel use. A method of material design for specialty textile products is proposed. The contents of attributive specialty items are systematically presented. Knowledge for fundamental principle of technology on attributive specialty items must be useful for conducting the design works. In this paper, the principles of attributive technologies for micro-climate comfort-ability and wearing comfort-ability are systematically explained.
