New Welsh Review is a substantial, serious quarterly journal wholly devoted to publishing Welsh creative writing in English, and to critical studies of that literature in all its diversity of form and content. Successive editors (Belinda Humfrey, Michael Parnell, Robin Reeves) have revealed a remarkable galaxy of new writers and have established a sure foundation for scholarly evaluation of literature in the majority language of Wales.
