With this beautifully produced book the Antique Collectors’ Club has provided us with yet another addition to its gallery of fine publications.
It is noted that the publication of this book was made possible by a generous grant from Ceramica‐Stiftung of Basel, Switzerland, and its welcome support has been money well spent.
For not only is this the first monograph to be written on the subject of English‐type dry‐bodied stoneware, it is clearly well‐researched and the very informative prose is augmented by 350 black‐and‐white illustrations and 75 colour plates.
