The Emmerdale Companion Available to Purchase

What Anthony Hayward did for Emmerdale in his book The Emmerdale Companion (see Reference Review 98/90), he has now done again in a paperback, but seriously updated, book of the same name. The schema is the same ‐ a year‐by‐year chronicle of events and characters in the Yorkshire Television soap drama’s fictional village. And once again the “Passing through” and “Off screen” notes for each year give a detailed perspective of the myriad players and roles.
