Geodata.gov: US Data and Maps Available to Purchase

This site is part of the implementation of the US National Spatial Digital Infrastructure. It was developed in June 2003 by an intragovernmental initiative to provide one‐stop portal access for US maps and geospatial data and services from US federal, state, local and tribal governments, as well as from the private sector and universities.

The site does not host data itself but serves as a catalogue of maps (static and interactive) and data (Web‐accessible or in other formats such as print or CD‐ROM). While only in operation for a few months, the number and range of resources included is impressive....
