The Cylinder Preservation and Digitization Project (CPDP) site at the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB) is the product of an Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) grant to preserve and digitize their large collection of cylinder sound recordings from the 1890s to 1930. This site is the primary access point for the 6,500 plus cylinder recordings the project has digitized to date. Overall, the site is well thought out and functions admirably as a repository and as a presentation piece.
