PLoS One

PLoS One is a new English language open access journal published by the Public Library of Science (PLoS) and like other PLoS titles employing an author pays model. This publication's scope encompasses the results of scientific research from any scientific or medical discipline. PLoS One will consider and encourages manuscripts of any length and while it employs a traditional pre‐publication peer‐review process the journal also explicitly employs a “post‐publication” review or discussion process that includes reader added public annotations, discussions and ratings.
