Professor Baker pays me a generous tribute in his acknowledgements. Although I encouraged him, as he kindly states, I played no part in the planning and writing of his book and did not see it until it was in print. It is one of the latest volumes in an extensive series of Author Chronologies under the general editorship of Professor Norman Collins.
