Since its establishment more than 50 years ago with the production of Current British Directories (CBD Research, 1953‐) (RR 2004/115), from which the company name derives, CBD Research has specialised in the publication of thoroughly researched and meticulously compiled and presented directories. The company web site (www.cbdresearch.com/) currently lists 11 titles, some of which seem to have perished as active publications (e.g. Current European Directories last published in 1994).
