State legislators need to make informed decisions and this web site brings together vast amounts of news, reports, and state‐by‐state comparisons of public policy issues. The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) web site primarily targets legislators and their staff, especially in the announcements of topically oriented workshops, seminars, webinars, and meetings, but the resources brought together here can also be of admirable help to students. NCSL is a nonpartisan nonprofit group created to communicate different state's solutions to pressing problems.
