APA Dictionary of Clinical Psychology

What is it with psychologists and dictionaries? There are just so many of them. I seem to have spent a large proportion of my life reviewing them and sorting them out. The earliest copy of Reference Reviews I have to hand is volume 3(1) 1989, in which I reviewed two psychology dictionaries, A Lexicon of Psychology, Psychiatry and Psychoanalysis (Kuper, 1988) (RR 1989/026) and the Dictionary of Behavioral Assessment Techniques (Hersen and Bellack, 1988) (RR 1989/027), saying, with regard to the latter, that “There are quite a number of guides… already available” and mentioning...
