Travelling can be educational and enlightening. Or it can be quirky and revealing of man's more magical or eccentric nature. Atlas Obscura is for the people who want to travel, even by armchair, to destinations weird, exotic, and mysterious. It is a fabulous website with non-intrusive advertisements that allow users to explore the weird, the odd, and the mystical. Highlighted in July were a haunted whore house in California, a magic/healing Mercado in Mexico City, and a cursed astronomical clock in Prague whose maker in the fourteenth century was blinded after its creation so as to make another better one...
