Twentieth-Century War and Conflict: A Concise Encyclopedia

This new paperback “concise encyclopedia” comprises articles relating to twentieth-century war and conflict reprinted from Wiley-Blackwell's five-volume The Encyclopedia of War, first published in 2012. The original set, also edited by Gordon Martel, Emeritus Professor of History at the University of Northern British Columbia and author of numerous books on modern warfare, the latest of which is The Month that Changed the World: July 2014 (Martel, 2014), received wide critical acclaim.
