Several recent titles in Scarecrow’s International Organizations Series have already been examined by Reference Reviews (95/86, 95/297). This volume, one of the slimmer contributions at 200 or so pages, is the work of Guy Arnold a well‐known freelance writer on development and African topics. Broadly speaking, it follows the pattern of other volumes in the series, fleshing out dictionary entries with a bibliography and appendices.
