This latest in the series of Cambridge Companions to major philosophers makes a rare excursion to the 20th century to tackle Ludwig Wittgenstein, philosopher and legend. Edited by Hans Sluga, Professor of philosophy at University of California, Berkeley and eminent Frege scholar, and David G Stern, Assistant Professor of Rhetoric at Berkeley and author of Wittgenstein on Mind and Language (1995), the book has 13 commissioned chapters by philosophers from the UK or the USA and one from Michad Kober at the University of Freiburg.
