Of course, the reference book still has a lot going for it: we have only to look at quite a few of the titles reviewed in our columns, especially from Europa Publications and especially this title, to prove the point. On receiving this volume I was rather worried at first as it seemed thinner than last year’s edition; in fact it has exactly the same number of pages and so is simply using slightly thinner paper.
