ABC Books and Activities is one of a Series directed at school library media specialists. Cooper, who is one in Ohio, has produced two, the other called Counting Your Way through 1‐2‐3 Books and Activities (same series and date). ABC Books looks at some 500 books for young children, published mainly between the 1960s and the present (although some are reprints from earlier). There are ten sections, each with an introductory essay, followed by an annotated bibliography (with publishers, dates, ISBNs, etc., all US imprints).
