Tunisia Handbook (with Libya)

First published by Trade & Travel as part of the North African Handbook in 1993 and reviewed then by myself, this series is now split down into Tunisia and Libya (here reviewed), Egypt, Morocco, and Andalucia ‐ because of Moorish influence. The guidebook follows the usual “Footprint” layout. There are well‐written chapters on travelling in Islamic countries, history of North Africa, wildlife, travel and survival in the desert, jewellery and dress.
