Lawyers’ Law Books: 3rd edition: A Practical Index to Legal Literature

Archbold on Pleading; Cross on Evidence; Kemp on Damages; Williams on Wills; Raistrick on Law Books? The last does not sound quite right somehow, and maybe one needs more than three editions to achieve such immortality. The compiler has the Lord Chancellor’s foreword as an imprimatur though, so maybe it is only a matter of time. Just “Raistrick” perhaps, like “Walford”! The compiler himself refers to his book as LLB ‐ that doesn’t trip off the tongue too well either ‐ but LLB it shall be.
