Hippocrene Standard Dictionary: Greek‐English, English‐Greek

The publishing history of this work seems slightly complex as the volume quotes a copyright date of 1998 but with original copyright quoted as 1965 to M. Vassiliou. I cannot now find my original copy, but I suspect that this is a reprint of a small red‐bound dictionary I used many years ago, mainly because at the time there was nothing better, or even nothing else. Certainly, this edition shows signs of much reprinting: the type is considerably enlarged from my memory of the original but it is also badly worn and it shows in this rather poorly printed latest...
