Encyclopedia of Conflict Resolution

I was quite interested when I first noticed the author of this, but it turns out to be a different Guy Burgess. This one is a sociologist from the Conflict Research Consortium at the University of Colorado, and, according to the blurb, is a long‐time specialist in the resolution of intractable conflict. With so much long‐time specialist expertise available it may seem surprising that any conflicts still exist, but, in fact, there is very little evidence presented here of any conflict‐resolution techniques actually working. Still, we haven’t actually had World War III yet, which is some consolation.
