The Libraries Directory 1996‐98 Available to Purchase

What with the regular appearance of Library Association, Aslib and other library directories, I am always rather suprised at the survival of this title: and not just survival as it has every outward appearance of flourishing. The questionnaire still arrives regularly on my desk (rather more detailed than I generally like, but I do my best and the results seem complete and consistent enough here on the printed page) and new editions follow. As in this edition, advertisments are included but never so many as to be obtrusive or to suggest that they are the title’s main source of income....
