This handbook is written and produced to the usual Footprint standards; Peter Pollard brings the country to life for would‐be travellers. Definitely not a country for the faint‐hearted, nevertheless, Columbia is not half as bad as pessimists would have us believe. If travellers avoid the no‐go areas of the larger cities and the actual drug crop growing areas, they would be hard‐put to know that there is a problem.
