The only problem I have found with these books is that a normally bright child is likely to guess the answer to the title from the picture on the cover. If that risks diminishing the initial impact of each work as a puzzle book, it does not in any way diminish the basic value of the books, where illustrations and simple texts combine to give a lot of the information children like about the natural world and its creatures.
